Our story

In 2010 we travelled overseas on a vacation for a month to see relatives. while away from our home we had a break in on the garage unit and lost over $6000 worth of tools from automotive to electronics repair equipments.

Upon our return from holidays we contacted the police and authorities(Insurance) and reported the incident. The police visited us at our home took a written statement, asked us a few questions about the incident and left. While at home and thinking about how it had all happened , all the questions we were asked, the one that had stood out the most to us was ” video footage of the incident” we had no video statement of the incident that had occurred. Had we had video surveillance it would have speed up the investigation process and settle our claim.

A week after reporting the incident to insurance they also requested video of incident to add to the list of evidence they had gathered(written statements and police reports) to validates our claim to ensure it wasn’t just a fraud. At this point we knew we were in trouble and had to prove our case was a legitimate claim. But how? we didn’t have any witness on file or home surveillance footage that would have added more weight to the case. We fought with insurance for almost 3 months before we could get a settlement for our losses.

Right after the struggles of the investigation we learned a valuable lesson and immediately install home security surveillance on our home to avoid future quarrels with the investigators which cost a sixth of the amount we had lost due to the break-in.

Through the midst of this situation it was when thoughts of our company and its key function(protect and secure) was born. We had never had a company before and had no clue on how to run one. But from our experience one could agree offering services like security surveillance is not just the thing of today technology but also is a much needed service for homes and businesses of today.

With the break-in experience we had suffered we started our company in 2016 installing security surveillance in Edmonton and surrounding areas. And taking extra care on every step in the process when we offer service to our customers. We are also backed by 20 years of experience in electronics and computers repairs technology which given us an edge on handling complex security solutions. We are committed to the key function of our company Protect and Secure.

Since we started in 2016,we grown in size from two to ten employees highly skilled tradesmen serving Edmonton and surrounding areas.
